Tchai-Ovna is rightfully proud of its painstakingly sourced selection of speciality loose leaf teas from around the world. However, where we believe we really come into our own is in our range of homemade tea recipes.

Tea is an incredibly versatile drink, providing plenty of space for innovation and creativity in the production of speciality recipes and blends. Since the year 2000, our industrious staff have researched, devised and concocted a variety of alluring mixtures to tantalise the senses. Blending regularly in-house, we have combined some of our favourite loose leaf teas with high quality, direct sourced spices to produce a delectable range of chais. These are beautifully complemented by a wide assortment of other tea blends and herbal infusions.

Our house favourite masala chai blend, Yogi Yogi Chai, has been a bestseller for many years. However, we are just as proud of our other recipes. For example, our Faeries’ Blood, which contains a lively selection of herbal and fruity elements; Mulled Wine Tea, which is a surprising non-alcoholic Winter warmer, based on our half-Czech owner’s old family recipe; Golden Flower of Healing, with its mix of soothing herbal ingredients, and Crofter’s Chai, which uses smoked Lapsang Souchong tea to provide a peaty twist on our house chai.
