Honeybush is a little-known South African herb, not too dissimilar to Rooibos. As suggested by its name, this roasted variety effuses a sublime honey-like sweetness, along with a pleasant, dry warmth.
While it holds its own as a unique, high quality herbal infusion, it is also a perfect caffeine-free substitute for black tea and sugar, going well with milk or milk alternatives. It is full-bodied (left in the pot it only gets better), honey sweet and floral.
