Kenya produces some of the finest teas in Africa, famed for their rich ochre-red colour and malty flavour. African tea finds its way into many teabag blends, from Lipton to Yorkshire Tea, as a CTC or fannings grade. However, our single estate large leaf Kenya TGFOP stands up well on its own merits as a quality brew. If steeped for slightly longer, there are subtle hints of astringency that counterbalance the vegetal and pleasantly earthy overtones.
