This oolong tea comes from the small, family-owned Jun Chiyabari tea garden in the eastern Nepalese Himalayas. It displays delicious chocolatey notes along with a fresh nuttiness, mountain nuance and a hint of Wu-Yi rock tea inspiration.
It has a large concentration of downy tea tips having been picked in the spring harvest season. The carefully bonsai’d tea plants grow at an altitude of 2500 meters (8200 feet), capturing the freshness of the dreamy Himalayan mists. Remarkably, it remains full bodied and malty for up to 3 infusions.
No chemicals are used during this tea’s production; why mess with what’s already perfect!
