Tulsi occupies a special place in Hindu lore as a sacred plant – associated with the Goddess Lakshmi – which is intimately entwined with its important role in Ayurvedic medicine. According to Ayurveda, it is effective in treating a wide range of conditions, from anxiety to digestive problems and even scorpion bites – hence its common epithet, “Queen of Herbs”. Used in the East for thousands of years, Western science is only now beginning to recognise its many benefits.
Try it yourself and we’re sure you’ll agree, it really is divine!
