Lovely spiced chai tea, very reminiscent of time spent in Nepal. Very good online service.

It seems like an entire galaxy of spice is contained in just one cup!
We have left no stone unturned in seeking out the best possible ingredients for our blend. Along the way, we have built up close relationships with a number of Indian producers and spice merchants, ensuring that we can direct source most of our ingredients at a fair price. We can therefore safely say that our chai is not only supremely tasty, but is also produced to high ethical standards.
The name Yogi Yogi Chai was born out of Tchai-Ovna owner Martin’s experiences of refining his budding chai recipe whilst travelling in India. He shared his blend with many people there, including a number of Yogi masters he encountered. As well as receiving many helpful practical tips, he was enamoured with the Yogis belief that the entire cosmos is situated within the body. He therefore sought to keep this in mind whilst creating as well-rounded an infusion as possible, where the range of aromas and flavours complement the earthiness of the base tea. The result is a deliciously complex infusion that takes you on a spice journey, all around the different regions of your palate and senses – an emboldening way to start the morning, or unwind with in the evening.
To fully bring out the range of tastes in our Yogi Yogi Chai, we recommend brewing it with your milk of choice and a generous addition of demerara sugar or honey.
Add one level teaspoon of Yogi Chai to 1/2 water on a simmering stove, after 1 minute add milk. Gently stir for 3 minutes, then strain and sweeten with demerara sugar or honey to taste.
For an 8 ounce cup; add 1.5g of Yogi Chai & 2 sugars to a milk jug. Add 1/2 hot water & steep for 1 minute (skip the water if using oat milk) add 2/3 milk and steam together. Strain into cup. VIDEO
No added sugar — the sweetness comes naturally from the spice blend. Some people like to add sugar or honey to taste when brewing.
